Context

Wedding-planner websites tend to converge on the same language: gold accents, pastel banners and long package lists. LUNEA had to speak to couples buying calm, atmosphere and confidence rather than “decorations”. The site therefore needed the emotion of a bridal editorial, while still explaining the process and offering a concrete first step.

02

The solution

The story opens with a full-screen image and one line, then gradually moves into facts, stories and services. Warm paper, dark ink and softly desaturated photography create a composed editorial rhythm. The gallery is manual and touch-enabled; the hero decodes the next image before fading, exposes a pause control and respects reduced motion. On mobile, imagery is deliberately cropped instead of being shrunk into an empty canvas.

03

The outcome

Nineteen source PNGs weighed 43.5 MB. The WebP delivery set weighs 2.6 MB — 94% less — while first-frame priority, lazy loading and reserved media proportions stabilise the load. The menu manages keyboard focus, the gallery supports arrows and swipe, and the brief prepares a complete email draft. The concept stays cinematic but behaves like a finished product.
